Privacy Policy
Pickglow (拾光) · Updated October 10, 2026
Summary
Pickglow does not collect, upload or sell any of your personal data. Pickglow has no servers of its own, contains no ads, analytics or third-party tracking SDKs, and never asks you to create an account.
Photos and videos
- Pickglow asks for access to your photo library so it can show your photos and videos at random, along with their albums and capture details. You can allow only some photos, and change this anytime in Settings → Privacy & Security → Photos.
- To find similar, blurry or failed photos, Pickglow analyzes small thumbnails on your device. The results stay on your device and never leave it.
- Favorites are saved to Favorites in the Photos app. Pickglow asks the system to delete photos only after you confirm in the system prompt, and deleted items go to Recently Deleted first.
- Photos and videos are shared only when you tap Share yourself, through the system share sheet.
Photo locations
When you filter photos by city or view where a photo was taken, Pickglow sends the location recorded in that photo to Apple Maps to look up the city or address and show a map. Apple handles this request under the Apple Privacy Policy; the city names are stored only on your device. Pickglow never reads your current location.
iCloud sync (Pickglow Pro)
When a Pro member turns on draw-history sync, Pickglow stores short identifiers of which photos have been drawn (no photo content or location) in your own iCloud account, so your devices stay in step. This data lives in your iCloud and the developer cannot access it. You can turn sync off in Pickglow's Settings.
Purchases
Pickglow Pro (a yearly subscription or a one-time lifetime purchase) is bought through Apple's In-App Purchase; Apple handles payment and subscription management. Pickglow only learns from the system whether you are a member and never receives your payment details, Apple Account or identity. The free boxes you have left are counted in this device's keychain.
Data on your device
Your progress, Trash List, stats and settings are stored on your device. Deleting Pickglow deletes this data too (your photos are not deleted).
Children
Pickglow does not collect information from children, or personal information from anyone.
